Hill & Home was built on a simple idea, your home should feel like a place you can fully enjoy, not another thing on your to-do list.

Founded in Waco, Texas, we created Hill & Home to offer more than just cleaning. We provide thoughtful, detail-driven care that brings a sense of calm, order, and consistency to your space.

Who we are

Hi, we’re Lilian & Steven.

We met at Texas Tech University and quickly bonded over our shared love of dogs and a dream of someday owning our own businesses. We didn’t wait very long to get started. While we were still in college, we adopted our rescue dog, Todd, and started our first business together in Lubbock.

After graduation, we made our way back to Waco, Steven’s hometown, to be closer to family and to put down roots in the part of Texas we love.

And somewhere along the way, we started asking ourselves a question:

What does Waco need that we could build really well?

We kept coming back to home services.

Not because Waco didn’t have companies that could clean a house, but because we wanted something that felt more personal. We wanted a company where clients knew who they were welcoming into their home, and where the people caring for that home knew them, too.

A company that remembered the little things. That showed up when it said it would. That you could comfortably recommend to your parents, your neighbor, or your best friend.

That idea became Hill & Home.

We brought a little bit of both of us to it.

Lilian came into Hill & Home with six years of commercial cleaning and consulting experience and now leads our day-to-day operations, sales, and client relationships. If you’ve called, texted, scheduled a consultation, or met us at your home, there’s a pretty good chance you’ve talked to her.

Steven is a Marine Corps veteran with four years of experience consulting with small business owners across the country. Today, he works primarily behind the scenes on Hill & Home’s marketing and growth — although every now and then, you’ll still find him out cleaning alongside the team.

Together, we’ve built Hill & Home around the things we value in our own lives: trust, relationships, hard work, and taking good care of what people have worked hard to build.

And we’re still growing.

What started with cleaning homes has grown into residential and commercial cleaning, organization and unpacking, apartment turnovers, specialty services, and opportunities to serve people throughout our community.

We’re incredibly proud of that growth, but we never want growth to come at the expense of what made Hill & Home special in the first place.

We want to know our clients. We want you to trust the people walking through your door. And when you tell your family or friends about Hill & Home, we hope you can say more than, “They did a great job cleaning.”

When we’re not working…

Home is pretty important to us, too.

You can usually find us spending time with our dog, caring for our home (and our quail!), trying somewhere local around Waco, or finding new ways to support the community we get to call home.

Lilian volunteers with the Junior League of Waco, and as a family, we love supporting the local businesses and people that make Waco feel like Waco.

We’re grateful that this community has trusted us enough to grow Hill & Home into what it is today, and we’re really excited about what comes next.
